The Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge is a 4800 km ocean rowing race, starting from La Gomera in the Canaries Island, to English Harbour in Antigua. The world record for the crossing is 30 days, but the average time needed is more around 60 days, and the journey can take up to 120 days.

On the start, boats are equipped to make the crossing in full autonomy, with no resupply or repair possible during the race. The boats are about 7 meters long and 2 meters wide, and they are built to insure the rowers' safety.

Yet outside the cabin, the rowers are alone to face the elements and unpredictable conditions. They are alone to keep going despite the blisters, salt rash, and sleep deprivation accumulated with 2 hour shifts. And they are alone to row against the foul weather, the waves, and the heat...

That's why the Talker Whisky Atlantic Challenge is the world's toughest row!
